Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Berwyn Arms, I was genuinely impressed by the charming atmosphere that enveloped this 17th Century gastro-pub. Nestled conveniently along the scenic A5, the views from my spacious room overlooking the Dee Valley were simply breathtaking, complemented by the delightful sound of steam trains passing nearby. The comfort of my room cannot be overstated - it featured a comfortable bed, stylish décor, and all the amenities one could wish for, including fresh toiletries and a convenient kettle for late-night teas. the breakfast, freshly prepared each morning, was the icing on the cake, ensuring I started my day right. Noteworthy was the warm hospitality extended by Sarah and her attentive team, who made every effort to ensure a pleasant stay. Their genuine friendliness made it feel like visiting an old friend rather than just another hotel. With excellent service, stunning vistas, and top-notch accommodations, I left the Berwyn Arms with fond memories and a promise to return, making it a must-visit for anyone exploring this picturesque part of Wales.
